Installing Straby on your phone

Straby runs in the browser, and can be installed like an app — no store, no download.

iPhone. Open your dashboard in Safari, tap the share button, then "Add to Home Screen".

Android. Chrome shows an install prompt, or use the menu, "Install app".

What you gain. An icon on your home screen, full screen without browser chrome, and a dashboard that opens even on a bad connection — the last screens are cached.

What is never cached. Your contacts and statistics. A stale figure is worse than an honest wait, so those are always fetched.

After an update. If something looks wrong right after we ship a change, close the app entirely and reopen it, or force a reload in the browser: the previous version is cached on purpose.
